Our Services are designed to provide information and support your decision-making process. However:
- We do not provide medical, legal, or financial advice
- Our assessments are based on information you provide and publicly available data
- We are not affiliated with or endorsed by any care homes unless explicitly stated
- Final decisions regarding care should be made in consultation with appropriate professionals
4.2 Free Shortlist
A free personalised shortlist of care homes based on your stated needs, preferences, and location.
Includes:
- A shortlist of care homes matched to your requirements using regulatory data and quality metrics
- Summary ratings and key quality indicators for each home
- Location-based filtering by distance and care type
Does not include:
- Detailed financial analysis, staffing data, or deep-dive quality checks
- Fee estimates or availability information
- Personalised care needs assessment or funding eligibility evaluation
4.3 Funding Guide
A paid report assessing your potential eligibility for NHS Continuing Healthcare (CHC) and local authority funding, based on the information you provide.
Includes:
- Personalised funding eligibility assessment based on your answers
- Explanation of relevant funding pathways (CHC, local authority, Attendance Allowance)
- Regional council fee data for your local authority area
- Guidance on next steps and relevant organisations to contact
Does not include:
- Financial advice as defined by the Financial Conduct Authority — this service is not regulated by the FCA
- Legal advice — formal eligibility is determined by your local authority or NHS Integrated Care Board
- Guaranteed outcomes — eligibility decisions are made by statutory bodies, not by RightCareHome
- Tax planning, estate planning, or investment advice
4.4 Personalised Matching Report
A paid in-depth report comparing up to five care homes matched to your needs, using data from multiple independent sources.
Includes:
- Detailed analysis of each home across regulatory ratings, financial stability, staffing quality, and family reviews
- Fair cost comparison using published local authority fee data
- Match scores reflecting alignment with your stated priorities
- Personalised visit preparation checklist
Does not include:
- Guaranteed availability — room availability changes daily and must be confirmed directly with homes
- Fee quotes — published fee data is indicative; actual fees are set by individual homes
- Medical, legal, or financial advice
- Coverage outside England — Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland have separate regulatory frameworks
4.5 Care Home Check
A paid per-home verification report providing an independent deep-dive into a single care home using publicly available data.
Includes:
- Regulatory inspection ratings, trends, and enforcement history
- Financial stability indicators from official company filings
- Food hygiene ratings and sub-scores from the national regulator
- Staff quality signals from employee review platforms
- Family review analysis from public review sources
- Neighbourhood context including transport, amenities, and green spaces
- Personalised visit checklist based on identified risks
Does not include:
- Fee estimates or room availability — contact the home directly
- Assessment of your personal care needs or funding eligibility
- Medical, legal, or financial advice
- Coverage outside England — Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland have separate regulatory frameworks
4.6 Data Sources and Freshness
Our reports draw on multiple publicly available data sources, including the Care Quality Commission (CQC), Companies House, the Food Standards Agency (FSA), NHS England, and consumer review platforms. Data is refreshed regularly; however, each source has its own update schedule. Reports display a generation date. Information may have changed since that date, and we recommend verifying critical details directly with care homes.
5. Fees and Payment
5.1 Pricing
Some of our Services are provided free of charge, whilst others require payment. All applicable fees are displayed before you complete any purchase. Prices are quoted in British Pounds (GBP) and include VAT where applicable.
5.2 Payment Processing
Payments are processed securely through our third-party payment provider. By making a purchase, you agree to their terms of service. We do not store your complete payment card details on our servers.
5.3 Refunds

6. Intellectual Property Rights
6.1 Our Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in our Services, including but not limited to the website design, logos, trademarks, text, graphics, software, and assessment methodologies, are owned by or licensed to RightCareHome. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

You retain ownership of any content you submit to our Services. However, by submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, store, and process that content solely for the purpose of providing and improving our Services.

Our Services incorporate data from third-party sources, including the Care Quality Commission (CQC), Companies House, the Food Standards Agency (FSA), and NHS England. This data remains the property of the respective owners and is used under applicable licences and regulations.
Information derived from the Care Quality Commission is presented for general informational purposes only. This information is sourced from publicly available regulatory data and is reproduced in accordance with the Open Government Licence. It does not represent an endorsement by the CQC of our Services, and the CQC bears no responsibility for how we present or interpret its data. Regulatory ratings and inspection findings are point-in-time assessments; current conditions at any care home may differ from the most recent published data. You should always verify regulatory information directly via the relevant regulator before making care decisions.
7. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree not to use our Services to:
- Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' accounts
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of our Services
- Use automated means to access our Services without our permission
- Collect or harvest personal information about other users
- Use our Services for any commercial purpose not expressly permitted
- Transmit any malware, viruses, or other harmful code

10. Termination

You may terminate your Account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion feature (if available). Upon termination, you will lose access to any paid Services unless a refund is applicable under our Refund Policy.

We may suspend or terminate your Account and access to our Services at any time if:

- We reasonably believe your Account has been compromised
- We discontinue or materially modify our Services
